Dr. Paul Iles, Psy.D
Founder & Vice President of Clinical Services
Dr. Paul Iles is a founder and Vice President of Clinical Services of MBHCA.
Dr. Iles earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1996 from Forest Institute. Before earning his doctorate, r. Iles received his Master of Science in Guidance & Counseling degree from SMSU in 1988 and his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Centenary College in 1984.
Dr. Iles has numerous licenses and certifications. Specifically, he is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Doctoral Addictions Counselor, Diplomat in Psychotherapy with a current diplomatic status with the American Academy of Forensic Counseling, and is a past Senior Disability Analyst and Diplomat.
In addition to the licenses and certifications, Dr. Iles’ skills in the mental health field span over 20 years. He has vast experience in Human Relations, Individual & Family Therapy, Crisis Intervention, DMH Involuntary Hospitalizations, Group Counseling, Career Guidance & Testing, Learning Disabled & Gifted Children, Sexual Abuse Counseling, Grief Therapy, DFS Parenting Skills Classes, Non-violent Crisis Intervention Methods, and Alcohol & Drug Assessments. Dr. Iles’ work has reached all over Missouri. He has experience working at Great Circle, Murrell Psychological Associates, Herndon Snider & Associates, Helping Hand Psychological Services, Burrell Center, and is a founder of Evergreen Residential Care Facility.
Dr. Iles is a member of the American Legion, Missouri Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Association. Important to note that Dr. Iles is also a veteran and was an E4 in the Navy, with experience Chaplin’s Assistant. He received an Honorable Discharge from the Naval Reserve.
Sheila Buie, MA, LPC, CCDP-D
Founder, President/Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Buie is a founder and Chief Executive Officer of MBHCA. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional-Diplomat. Ms. Buie has served children and families of Missouri for 25 years. She has dedicated her talent and skilled her craft to help improve the quality of life for Missouri’s citizens. Ms. Buie earned her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2009. She received her undergraduate education at Drury University, where she majored in Psychology. Ms. Buie is a trained EMDR clinician and her clinical work encompasses helping individuals reduce trauma.
